Spencer Clarke Group are working in partnership with a secondary school in Penwortham to recruit a Food Technology Teacher to start immediately on a full-time basis, continuing until the end of the academic year.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking department, delivering engaging and practical Food Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

The Role

  • Deliver high-quality Food Technology lessons in line with the national curriculum

  • Plan, prepare and assess students' work to ensure strong progress

  • Maintain a safe and well-organised practical classroom environment

  • Support students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential

  • Contribute to the wider life of the department and school

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level

  • Strong classroom management skills

  • A commitment to high standards of teaching and learning

  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
