Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Family Support Worker for a local authority client in Ilford.
In this role, you will support the Children with Disabilities Team by completing transition and Child in Need assessments, undertaking duty tasks, and helping prepare the service for its upcoming transformation.
Key Duties:
- Complete Transition Assessments for young people approaching adulthood
- Review overdue Child in Need (CIN) cases and address identified needs
- Carry out Child and Family (C&F) Assessments and support duty tasks
- Assist in preparing the team for the upcoming CWD service transformation
Qualifications and Experience:
The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:
- Experience supporting children with disabilities and completing CIN and C&F assessments
- Knowledge of transition planning and safeguarding procedures
- Skilled in managing caseloads and addressing overdue reviews
- Confident in multi-agency working and effective communication
What's on offer:
Salary: £22ph
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 3-6 months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension
Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week
