English Teacher

We are working with a Secondary School in Bolton who are seeking an English Teacher to join them for the new academic year.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented individual who is passionate about literature, language, and helping students achieve their full potential.

The Role:

• Teach English across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 teaching may be available for suitable candidates)
• Deliver engaging and challenging lessons that inspire a love for reading and writing
• Plan and assess effectively to raise achievement and support student progress
• Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extra-curricular activities and literacy initiatives
• Work collaboratively within a supportive and forward-thinking department

You will need to have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature
• The ability to motivate and challenge students of all abilities
• A commitment to raising standards and delivering high-quality teaching
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• A dedication to safeguarding and supporting the wellbeing of students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
