Early Years Transformation Lead - SEND

£450 - £500 per day

6 month contract, likely to be extended

Hybrid working - South East England

Spencer Clarke Group are seeking an experienced SEND Early Years Transformation Lead to ensure the delivery of high-quality, inclusive and evidence-informed provision for children from 0-5 years old within a South East Local Authority.

There will be a particular focus on improving outcomes for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and those experiencing disadvantage.

Essential Requirements:

• Strong understanding of statutory duties, including EYFS, SEND Code of Practice and safeguarding frameworks.
• Proven track record of leading transformation in Early Years or SEND services.
• Experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams and overseeing complex budgets.

Duties include but not limited to:

• Lead the strategic planning and implementation of SEND Early Years Transformation.
• Provide oversight and management of budgets related to SENIF, training programmes and commissioned services.
• Drive innovation, continuous improvement and system-wide change across the Early Years sector.

Skills required:

• Capable of building effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Ability to interpret and use data to inform planning, decision-making, and performance improvement.
• A commitment to inclusion and improving outcomes for children and families.
