Spencer Clarke Group are seeking an Early Years Officer for a local authority client in North London.
In this role, you will support young children's development through engaging early education in a safe and inclusive environment.
Duties:
- Plan and deliver fun, age-appropriate learning activities following the EYFS framework.
- Support each child's development through observation, assessment, and tailored guidance.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and the wider team.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all children.
Qualifications and Experience:
The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:
- Experience working with children in an early years setting.
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Experience building positive relationships with children and families.
- Understanding of safeguarding and child development best practices.
What's on offer:
Salary: £18ph+
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 3-6 months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension
Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
