Director of Clinical Services (DoCS)
Location: Leeds
Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Contract: Permanent - Full Time
Our client are looking to appoint a Director of Clinical Services for their private mental health hospital in Leeds on a permanent basis.
The hospital is a purpose-built 19-bed facility offering high-dependency rehabilitation and recovery services for adults with complex mental health conditions. The service operates across two wards, including a bespoke therapeutic unit and a 17-bed male ward.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing clinical and operational leadership across the hospital.
- Leading the delivery of high-quality therapeutic and nursing care.
- Overseeing clinical performance, audit, and compliance with statutory standards
- Managing budgets and resources effectively.
- Developing and sustaining positive relationships with external partners and commissioners.
- Fostering a culture of engagement, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Current registration with the NMC or HCPC.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Ward Manager or equivalent in a mental health setting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proven ability to manage clinical budgets and performance.
- In-depth understanding of mental health legislation and regulatory frameworks.
