Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Complaints Review Officer for a Local Authority Client in East London.

In this role, you will investigate and resolve complex housing complaints and drive service improvements through fair, timely and evidence-based outcomes.

Duties:

  • Investigate and resolve complex housing complaints and Members' enquiries in a fair, timely and evidence-based manner.
  • Manage complaints from start to closure, ensuring clear communication and excellent customer service throughout.
  • Identify themes and learning from complaints and recommend improvements to housing services.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, councillors and external partners to deliver effective resolutions and manage risk.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience of handling complex complaints or casework in a housing or local authority setting.
  • Experience of interpreting legislation, policies and procedures to support decision-making.
  • Experience of engaging with customers, Members, and stakeholders in challenging situations.
  • Experience of producing clear written reports, findings, and recommendations for senior audiences.

What's on offer:

Salary: £25ph+

*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*

Contract type: 3-6 months minimum

Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week
