Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Casework Support Officer for a local authority client in Southwest London.

In this role, you will provide administrative and communication support to the Homeless Services team, helping to progress cases, maintain accurate records, and ensure residents receive timely assistance.

Duties:

  • Handle enquiries from staff and service users by phone and email.
  • Maintain accurate case records, databases, and spreadsheets.
  • Progress queries and casework through to resolution.
  • Draft correspondence, compile reports, and ensure documentation meets compliance standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:

  • Customer service experience, ideally in a public-facing role.
  • Work in or alongside homelessness or housing services.
  • Proven case management and record-keeping skills.
  • Strong written, numerical, and telephone communication abilities.

What's on offer:

Salary: £22ph

*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*

Contract type: 3-6 months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension

Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
