Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Careline Telecare Installation Review Officer for a local authority client in Central London.
In this role, you will install, review, and support telecare equipment to help vulnerable residents live safely and independently in their own homes.
Duties:
- Install, program, and maintain telecare and community alarm equipment, ensuring it meets customer needs and safety standards.
- Visit homes to assess requirements, carry out risk assessments, and provide clear demonstrations and user training.
- Conduct regular reviews, update records, and signpost customers to other services where appropriate.
- Respond to urgent situations, providing basic first aid, personal support, and liaison with emergency services.
Qualifications and Experience:
The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:
- Experience installing and maintaining electrical, telecoms, or assistive technology equipment.
- Proven ability to work directly with vulnerable individuals in a supportive or technical role.
- Strong communication skills to explain equipment use clearly to people of all abilities.
- Experience keeping accurate records and working independently, including lone working.
What's on offer:
Salary: £24ph
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 3-6 months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension
Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
