Business Studies Teacher - Maternity Cover
Location: Rossendale Area
Start Date: January 2026
Contract: Full-time (until the Easter break 2026)
Salary: In line with the Teachers' Pay Scale
Spencer Clarke Group are working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in the Rossendale area to appoint a Business Studies Teacher to join their team from January 2026.
This is a full-time position running until the Easter break, with the potential for further opportunities within the school or wider trust.
As the Business Studies Teacher, you will:
Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5
Plan, prepare and assess in line with departmental and school policies
Inspire students to develop their understanding of business, enterprise, and the economy
Contribute to the wider life of the school and department
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching Business Studies at KS4 and KS5
Strong classroom management and organisational skills
A commitment to supporting students' progress and achievement
