Brokerage Officer

Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Brokerage Officer for a local authority client in East London.

In this role, you will play a vital part in arranging and managing care packages and placements for adults, ensuring services are delivered efficiently, cost-effectively, and in line with individual needs and council policies.

Duties:

• Source and manage care services for adults, including residential, nursing, and supported living placements.
• Negotiate with providers to ensure value for money and high-quality care that meets assessed needs.
• Maintain accurate records using systems like Mosaic and CM2000 to support care planning and budget monitoring.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth service delivery and address gaps in provision.

Qualifications and Experience:

The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:

• Experience in health or social care settings, particularly with placement brokerage.
• Proven ability to negotiate with service providers and manage relationships effectively.
• Familiarity with using IT systems for service management, including financial and case management tools.
• Experience in managing administrative tasks and coordinating projects within a fast-paced environment.

What's on offer:

Salary: £22ph+

*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*

Contract type: 3-6 months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension

Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
