Spencer Clarke Group are seeking an Assisted Technology Emergency Response Officer for a local authority client in North London.
In this role, you will deliver timely emergency responses, assess and install assistive technology in residents' homes, and work collaboratively with care professionals to support independent living.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to emergency call-outs and conduct home assessments for assistive technology installations
- Collaborate with social care and health professionals to ensure appropriate support solutions
- Maintain accurate records using internal systems and manage referral and triage processes
- Provide high-quality customer service while supporting vulnerable residents in urgent situations
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have the following skills/experience:
- Experience providing face-to-face and telephone support in a customer-focused or emergency response role
- Background in working with diverse communities, including individuals with complex needs
- Proven ability to install, maintain, or support assistive technology or similar equipment in home settings
- Confident in using digital systems for case recording, referrals, and performance monitoring
Benefits and Package:
- Salary: £20ph (may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience)
- Contract type: 3-6 months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
