Do you have significant expertise in Mental Health and a passion for teaching? Join us as an Advanced Technical Lecturer and shape the future workforce of the healthcare sector.

We're looking for a forward-thinking educator with strong industry experience in mental health (NMC/HCPC/RMN/Social Work/OT registered) to lead high-quality teaching and learning on courses from entry level to level 7. You'll translate the latest workplace practices into exceptional learning experiences and drive improvement in pedagogy across your department.

What you'll be doing:

  • Delivering innovative and engaging learning in healthcare, particularly mental health
  • Leading subject-specific pedagogy and supporting curriculum development
  • Translating sector requirements into high-quality, technical teaching
  • Supporting learners' progression, achievement and employability


What you'll bring:

  • Degree or industry-recognised qualification in a relevant field
  • Recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to gain one)
  • Current professional registration (e.g. NMC, HCPC, RMN, Social Worker, OT)
  • Proven industry experience in mental health
  • Ability to lead, inspire and develop others
