Spencer Clarke Group is working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school and sixth form in Leyland to recruit an A Level Psychology Teacher for a full-time, long-term position starting in February.

This role offers the opportunity to teach motivated A Level students within a supportive department that values strong subject knowledge and high-quality teaching. The school is open to applications from both experienced teachers and strong ECTs with A Level Psychology experience.

The Role:

  • Deliver high-quality A Level Psychology lessons

  • Plan, prepare and assess in line with exam board specifications

  • Track student progress and provide effective feedback

  • Contribute to departmental planning and development

  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour and academic achievement

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching A Level Psychology

  • Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills

  • Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
