Mayfield School and College is a special school situated in the heart of Chorley.
Despite being a relatively small school, with just 120 pupils from 2-19, they pride themselves on making a big impact to the lives of their children and their families.

“We are an all age special school, educating 120 students with a range of special educational needs.
Recruitment and retention has been an ongoing issue within the educational sector for a significant period. This has been exacerbated by the pandemic.
We had a number of short term and long term vacancies for teaching assistants; as a SEN school, we required a very specific skill set in supporting our students."
