Meet the Team - Hannah Booth

We recently caught up with Payroll & Accounts Supervisor, Hannah Booth, to discover more about her career path so far and what’s next for her here at Spencer Clarke Group.

How long have you worked at Spencer Clarke Group?

I began my journey at Spencer Clarke Group in February 2023 as soon as I joined I was made to feel welcome and everyone was so friendly.

What does your role entail?

I specialise in accounts and payroll. My daily tasks involve invoicing and staying on top of payroll making sure all our candidates are paid on time.

What do you love most about what you do?

In accounts, I love that every task relates to problem solving which I really enjoy doing! It is my responsibility to keep everything organised within accounts which I love as I have control over it all.

What motivates you at work?

Time is a big motivation for me as we have deadlines to meet so when I consistently meet the deadlines I know I'm doing well. Also, knowing that I'm good at what I do is a big motivation as I'm not doubting myself.

How would you describe working at Spencer Clarke Group?

Spencer Clarke Group is a fantastic place to work, the office environment is so relaxed yet everyone is so hard working. Working here is like a dream!

Tell us about your career path so far!

Before I began my journey at Spencer Clarke Group, I worked in customer service and hospitality for 10 years. I then worked at a bookkeeping company as a bookkeeper for 5 years. Following that, I joined Spencer Clarke Group and I am so excited to grow within the company!

How would your colleagues describe you?

I hope they would describe me as hardworking, dedicated and motivated.

Where are we most likely to find you outside of work?

Outside of work, you are most likely to find me at my twin sister's house looking after my nephew and cooking!

I am really good at house DIY!

What’s next for you at Spencer Clarke Group?

I have recently been promoted to Accounts and Payroll Supervisor and I am so excited to start making a difference to the company.

I am a really good cook!
