Joe Penny
Associate Consultant
After graduating from Manchester Metropolitan University with a first degree in Philosophy during the start of the pandemic, I decided to kickstart my career in the recruitment industry.
With a background in customer focused roles, I discovered my passion for interacting with people from various backgrounds and helping them to achieve their own career goals. I'm now focused on growing my skills within the industry to provide an exceptional service in an ever changing climate.
I think my colleagues would describe me as a chatty and warm person with a knack for obscure facts and tidbits, if you ever need someone to bolster your pub quiz team look no further!
I love working at Spencer Clarke Group as it’s a brilliant company for developing and diversifying my skill set and I really believe that the company’s values closely match my own.
Aside from being an avid reader, I enjoy bouldering as a fun way to workout with my friends, hot yoga to help boost my flexibility and core strength, and have recently joined a muay thai class for overall fitness.
