Spencer Clarke Group are working with welcoming and supportive primary schools in St Helens who are looking for enthusiastic and caring Unqualified Teaching Assistants to join their teams.

Whether you've supported children in a care setting, worked with young people in the community, or gained experience through personal or voluntary roles - you could be exactly who we're looking for.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils.

  • Assist pupils with their learning, social development, and emotional well-being.

  • Help create a positive, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.

  • Support children with additional or special educational needs (SEND) when required.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with or supporting children in any capacity.

  • A caring, patient, and proactive approach to supporting pupils.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain).
