Job Description:
We are currently looking for unqualified teaching assistants to join their dedicated team. While a formal qualification is not required, we are seeking individuals with a genuine passion for working with children, particularly those with special educational needs. The role involves supporting both primary and secondary age students in their academic and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in implementing individualised education plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs.
Provide one-on-one or small group support to students during classroom activities.
Support the teacher in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Foster positive relationships with students, promoting their social and emotional well-being.
Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive and effective support system for students.
Requirements:
Previous experience working with children, such as in a support worker or care role.
Personal experience with special educational needs is highly desirable.
Enthusiasm, empathy, and a commitment to the well-being and development of students.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.33% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
