SEND Teaching Assistant - Primary School

Pay: £106 per day
Spencer Clarke Group are working with a supportive and inclusive primary school in Bebington who are seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis.
This role will involve supporting pupils with special educational needs through a combination of 1:1 and small group support, helping them to access learning and develop confidence within the classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored support to pupils with SEND.
Deliver 1:1 support and assist with targeted interventions.
Support pupils with communication, behaviour and emotional regulation.
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement support strategies.
Help create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
Adapt learning resources to meet individual needs where required.
Requirements:
Previous experience supporting children with SEND (school, care or relevant setting).
A patient, calm and proactive approach.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
