EYFS Teaching Assistant - Primary School
Location: Liverpool
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary (with potential for long-term opportunities)
Pay: from £106 per day
Spencer Clarke Group are working with a warm and welcoming primary school in Liverpool who are seeking a dedicated and nurturing EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting young children at the very start of their educational journey and helping them to develop socially, emotionally and academically.
Key Responsibilities:
Support children within an EYFS setting, including Nursery and Reception.
Provide general classroom support as well as 1:1 and small group support where required.
Assist with early literacy, numeracy and phonics activities.
Support children's personal, social and emotional development.
Help create a safe, engaging and nurturing learning environment.
Work closely with the class teacher and wider EYFS team.
Requirements:
Experience supporting children in EYFS, childcare, nursery or similar settings (school-based or transferable experience welcomed).
A caring, patient and proactive approach.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
A genuine passion for early years education and child development.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain).
