Unqualified Primary Teaching Assistant - Skelmersdale

Spencer Clarke Group are working with welcoming and supportive primary schools in Skelmersdale who are looking for Unqualified Teaching Assistants to join their teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils.

  • Assist pupils with their learning, behaviour, and social development.

  • Help create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment.

  • Support children with additional or special educational needs (SEND).

Requirements:

  • Experience working with or supporting children in any capacity.

  • A caring, patient, and proactive approach to supporting pupils.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain).
