Unqualified Teacher

We are recruiting Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in Cumbria. This is a fantastic role for those looking to gain experience before moving into teaching or education.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-set work in the absence of the class teacher
• Manage classroom behaviour and ensure students remain on task
• Support learners and maintain a positive classroom environment
• Report back to teaching staff as required

Requirements:

• Experience working with young people (education or youth work ideal)
• Confident classroom presence
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain routines
• Being a car driver would be extremely beneficial

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
