About the Role

Spencer Clarke Group is working closely with several supportive secondary schools across in Maghull who are seeking Unqualified Secondary Teaching Assistants to join their teams.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with experience working with young people - whether through education, youth work, coaching, or similar environments - who are keen to gain hands-on experience in the classroom and start their journey in education.
Key Responsibilities
- Support students with their learning under the direction of teaching staff.
- Assist in the preparation of classroom materials and resources.
- Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils who may need extra help.
- Help maintain a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Promote good behaviour and support the school's values and policies.
What We're Looking For
- A genuine passion for education and supporting young people.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with children or young people (preferred but not essential).
- Patience, empathy, and enthusiasm for helping students succeed.
- Flexibility and reliability to cover a range of classroom settings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
