Full-Time | Term Time Only | Monday-Friday | 8:30am-3:30pm
We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and resilient Unqualified Teaching Assistant to work within specialist provisions in the Chorley area, supporting students with SEN and SEMH additional needs.
This is a full-time, term-time only role offering a rewarding opportunity to support young people both academically and emotionally within a structured setting.

Role Responsibilities

  • Supporting students on a 1:1 and small group basis
  • Assisting the class teacher with tailored learning activities
  • Promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation
  • Creating a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment

Requirements

  • Willingness to support students with SEN and SEMH needs
  • Minimum 24 months employment references with no large unexplained gaps
  • Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service or willingness to pay and apply for one
  • Reliable, patient, and resilient approach
