Full-Time | Temp to Perm | Term Time Only

We are currently recruiting for a dedicated Unqualified Teaching Assistant to work within specialist SEND and SEMH provisions across Liverpool and the wider Merseyside area.

This is a full-time, term-time only position, working Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm, with temp-to-perm opportunities available for successful candidates.

You will support students with additional needs, including SEND and SEMH. Some pupils may present challenging behaviour, so resilience, patience, and adaptability are essential.

Role Responsibilities

• Supporting students on a 1:1 and small group basis

• Assisting the class teacher with tailored and differentiated learning activities

• Promoting positive behaviour and classroom engagement

• Helping to create a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment

Requirements

• Minimum GCSE Grade C/4 or above in Maths and English

• Available Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm (term time only)

• Able to travel across Liverpool and surrounding Merseyside areas

• Minimum 24 months employment references with no large unexplained gaps

• Willing to apply and pay for an Enhanced Child DBS and register it on the Update Service

• Reliable, resilient, and committed to supporting young people
