£106 - £115 per day
We are recruiting dedicated and compassionate Unqualified Teaching Assistants to work full-time within specialist provisions across Central Lancashire, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs including SEN, SEMH, ASC and learning difficulties.
Role Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with additional needs
Assist the class teacher with delivering tailored learning activities
Support pupils' social, emotional and behavioural development
Help create a safe, structured and positive learning environment
Adapt resources to meet individual learning needs
Encourage independence, engagement and confidence
What We're Looking For
Experience working with children or young people (education, care, coaching or youth work backgrounds welcomed)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A genuine interest in supporting SEN learners
Essential Requirements
Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service (UDS) or willingness to apply and pay for one
Minimum 24 months of employment references
No significant gaps in employment history
Full-time availability during term time
