🕒 Hours: Monday to Friday, Term Time Only - 08:30am to 15:30pm
💰 Pay: £106 - £115 per day (depending on experience)

About the Role:
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistant (Unqualified) to join our team, supporting children in schools across the Central Lancashire area, particularly in and around Chorley. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people.

You will be working alongside experienced teachers to help create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment for all pupils.

What We're Looking For:
✅ No formal qualifications required - just GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English
✅ Ability to travel to schools in the Chorley area
✅ A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting children's learning and well being
✅ A genuine passion for helping others

Desirable experience includes:

• Working in support work, care, or healthcare settings

• Having personal experience supporting a family member or friend with additional needs

Requirements:

• Must have 24 months of employment references with no large gaps

• Must hold a current Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service (UDS) or be willing to apply and pay for one prior to starting

This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
