Job Title: Unqualified Teaching Assistant - Specialist Provision
Location: Chorley, Lancashire
Hours: 08:30 - 15:30, Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
Contract: Full-Time and Part-Time Roles Available
Pay: £106 - £115 per day (depending on experience and travel)
The Role:
We are looking for caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated individuals to join a specialist provision based in Chorley, Lancashire, supporting children and young people with a range of additional needs. This is a rewarding opportunity for anyone with a passion for helping others and a desire to make a real difference in an educational setting.
As an Unqualified Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide personalised support to pupils, helping them to reach their full potential both academically and personally. You'll also play a key role in promoting positive behaviour and creating a safe, engaging learning environment.
Requirements:
Some experience working with children or individuals with additional needs (personal or professional experience accepted).
A positive, patient, and proactive attitude.
Must be happy to travel to Chorley for work.
Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply and cover the cost of one.
A minimum of 24 months' employment references with no large gaps in employment.
Availability Monday to Friday during term time.
