Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Triage Co-Ordination Officer for a Local Authority Client in West London.
In this role, you will provide first-contact housing advice and triage, helping residents prevent homelessness and access appropriate housing solutions.
Duties:
- Provide first-contact housing advice and assess residents' needs.
- Triage enquiries and allocate cases to the appropriate teams.
- Negotiate and mediate with landlords, families, and partners to prevent homelessness.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with housing legislation.
Qualifications and Experience:
The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:
- Experience providing advice or support to the public, ideally in housing or social services.
- Knowledge of housing legislation, tenants' rights, and homelessness prevention
- Proven ability to manage complex or vulnerable cases with sensitivity.
- Experience maintaining accurate records and meeting performance targets.
What's on offer:
Salary: £23ph
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 3-6 months minimum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week
