Job Title: School Transport Driver - Split Shifts (Temp to Perm)

Location: Leyland, Lancashire
Hours: Split Shifts - 07:00-10:00 and 14:00-17:00 (Full-Time, Monday to Friday)
Pay: £106 - £110 per day
Contract: Temporary to Permanent

The Role:
We are seeking a reliable and professional School Transport Driver to safely transport students between their home addresses and a specialist school in Leyland. This is a rewarding role, ideal for someone who enjoys driving and wants to make a positive contribution to the daily lives of children and young people.

Working on a split-shift basis, you will be responsible for morning pick-ups and afternoon drop-offs, ensuring all passengers travel safely, comfortably, and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport students to and from school in the mornings and afternoons.

• Maintain excellent timekeeping and route management.

• Ensure the vehicle is kept clean, safe, and roadworthy at all times.

• Build positive, professional relationships with students and school staff.

• Follow all safeguarding and safety procedures.

Requirements:

• Full, clean UK driving licence.

• Previous professional driving experience is essential.

• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.

• Friendly and patient manner when working with children and young people.

• Willingness to undergo relevant background checks and training if required.
