Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Temporary Accommodation Officer for a Local Authority Client in Southwest London.
In this role you will manage temporary accommodation and support residents to move on into suitable, stable housing.
Duties:
- Allocate and manage temporary accommodation placements across a range of property types
- Support residents to move on from temporary accommodation through effective casework
- Monitor property standards, compliance and provider performance
- Respond to tenancy issues, complaints, emergencies and anti-social behaviour promptly
Qualifications and Experience:
The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:
- Experience working with vulnerable households in a housing or homelessness setting
- Experience managing a caseload and meeting performance targets and deadlines
- Experience liaising with landlords, agents or accommodation providers
- Experience handling tenancy issues, complaints or anti-social behaviour cases
What's on offer:
Salary: £164 per day
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 3-6 months minimum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week
