Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Temporary Accommodation Officer for a Local Authority Client in Southwest London.
In this role, you will manage temporary accommodation, support residents to move on, and ensure properties and services meet high standards.
Duties:
- Allocate and manage temporary accommodation, including emergency housing and B&Bs.
- Support residents to move on and maintain up-to-date case records.
- Ensure properties meet safety, quality, and contractual standards.
- Liaise with landlords, agencies, and internal teams to deliver effective housing services.
Qualifications and Experience:
The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:
- Experience working with vulnerable or diverse residents in a housing or homelessness setting.
- Experience managing a caseload and prioritising work to meet targets.
- Experience monitoring contracts, property standards, or service performance.
- Experience negotiating and liaising with internal teams, landlords, or external stakeholders.
What's on offer:
Salary: £216 per day
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 3-6 months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension
Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week
