The Role
The school is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team after Easter. You will support students across a range of subjects, working closely with teaching staff to ensure all pupils are engaged and progressing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide in-class support to students on a 1:1 and small group basis

  • Assist the teacher in delivering engaging and structured lessons

  • Support students with additional learning needs

  • Help maintain a positive and focused classroom environment

  • Prepare and organise learning resources

Requirements

  • Previous experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • A proactive, reliable, and flexible approach

  • Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff

  • DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
