Hours: 8:30am - 3:15pm (Monday - Friday, Term Time Only)
Contract: Long-Term Position

Are you a passionate and caring individual looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people with special educational needs?
We are seeking a dedicated Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant to join a warm and inclusive SEN school in Rochdale supporting pupils with ASC (Autism Spectrum Condition), SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties), PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties) and complex needs.

About the Role:

• Work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide tailored support to pupils aged 11-19.

• Support students in developing independence, communication and social skills.

• Assist with learning activities, sensory sessions and personal care where required.

• Create a safe, positive and nurturing learning environment for all pupils.

About You:

• Experience working with children or young people with SEN is highly desirable.

• A patient, compassionate and proactive approach.

• Ability to work as part of a collaborative team.

• Commitment to supporting every pupil to reach their full potential.
