Are you a passionate and committed Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in a primary school setting?
We are working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Preston who are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
The Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and creative lessons
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils
- Assist with phonics, reading, writing and numeracy interventions
- Support pupils with additional needs (including SEN where required)
- Help create a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment
- Assist with classroom preparation and behaviour management
The Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working in a primary school setting
- Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)
- Is patient, nurturing and adaptable
- Has strong communication skills
- Demonstrates a good understanding of safeguarding procedures
- Is committed to supporting children's academic and personal development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
