Teaching Assistant - KS2 (Primary School)

Spencer Clarke Group are working with a supportive primary school in Leyland who are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support across Key Stage 2 on a full-time basis.

This role offers a varied and rewarding structure, with classroom support in the mornings and targeted intervention support in the afternoons, helping pupils to make progress and build confidence in their learning.

The Role:

• Provide classroom support in KS2 during morning sessions.
• Deliver small group and targeted interventions in the afternoons.
• Support pupils with learning, engagement and progress.
• Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom organisation.
• Help maintain a structured and positive learning environment.
• Adapt support to meet the needs of individual pupils where required.

Requirements:

• Experience working within a primary school setting, ideally KS2.
• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification preferred (or relevant experience).
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
• Proactive and adaptable approach to supporting learning.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
