We're seeking an experienced and compassionate Substance Misuse Recovery Facilitator to join our client's Substance Misuse Service in the Berkshire area. You'll support adults and young people in their recovery journey from drug and alcohol misuse, delivering tailored interventions and working collaboratively with partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete comprehensive assessments and risk assessments for service users.
- Develop and review individual recovery plans, tracking progress against agreed goals.
- Deliver a range of evidence-based substance misuse interventions, both one-to-one and in group settings.
- Provide harm reduction advice and support to promote safe recovery.
- Liaise with partner agencies, including health, education, and criminal justice teams, to ensure a holistic approach.
- Maintain accurate, confidential records and input data into local and national systems.
Key Requirements
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent experience in a social care or recovery setting.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and risk management.
- Experience delivering interventions in the substance misuse field.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Flexible, professional, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Enhanced DBS required.
- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Contract length: 3-6 months (with expectation of an ongoing extension)
Rate of Pay: £22-£28 (Negotiable DOE)
Hours: Full time, 37 hours each week.
