My Local Authority client in South London is looking to appoint a talented Strategy Lead for Housing Needs, Private Sector & Partnerships on a Contract basis.
This role will lead on resetting the partnership relationship between the council and voluntary sector partners to deliver outcomes through collaborative and joined up working.
About the role:
Based in South London (Hybrid - flexible):
- Lead on the development of a Homelessness Partnership Board to deliver the Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy.
- Management and delivery of a portfolio of transformation projects including
- Supported Housing re-procurement,
- Temporary Accommodation Dynamic Purchasing System (Approved Landlord Scheme),
- Temporary Accommodation usage reduction,
- Service restructure,
- Housing Association Nominations Agreement reviews
- Lead on the management of the transfer of the Private Sector Housing Team into the Housing directorate, review the service and implement required changes
- Review the effectiveness and use of the housing management system to improve data quality submissions to government and to support lobbying for funding
About you:
You will have the following experiences:
- Deep experience in Housing / Homelessness Strategy
- Excellence in partnership working, particularly with the Private Sector and VCSE.
- Outstanding stakeholder engagement skills.
- Local Authority experience is essential.

- Salary: £650 per day, inside IR35
