We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join a SEND school in High Wycombe, delivering high-quality education to pupils with special educational needs and disabilities through a combination of online teaching and outreach support within local care homes. This role involves planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons remotely to students with a range of needs, including autism, learning difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health needs, ensuring that learning is accessible, structured, and tailored to each individual. The successful candidate will monitor progress against EHCP outcomes, adapt teaching strategies to suit different learning styles, and maintain clear records of pupil development. In addition to online teaching, the role includes providing outreach support to young people living in care homes who may not currently attend school, working closely with care staff and other professionals to support educational engagement, wellbeing, and continuity of learning. The role requires excellent communication skills, creativity in delivering remote learning, and a strong commitment to inclusive practice and safeguarding. This is a rewarding opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about making a difference to young people with complex needs in flexible and non-traditional learning environments. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential, as regular travel to care homes and local settings in and around High Wycombe will be required.
