Social Care Assessor

We are looking for a Social Care Assessor on behalf of a Public client in the Liverpool area. This role involves completing needs assessments and Mental Capacity Assessments (MCAs), reviewing packages of care, providing duty cover, and attending regular supervision. The post holder will be required to attend the office at least three days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out needs assessments and MCAs.
• Review and monitor packages of care.
• Provide duty cover as required.
• Attend regular supervision sessions.
• Maintain accurate records in line with policy and guidance.

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience in social care or a related health/care setting.
• Understanding of needs assessments, care planning, and Mental Capacity Assessments (MCAs).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients, families, and professionals.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload.
• Ability to work independently while following policies and procedures.

Contract Length: 3-6 months with a view to extend to an ongoing contract.

Pay Rate: £19-£23 per hour (Negotiable DOE)

Working pattern - 35 hours per week.
