Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Settled Homes Team Manager (TA Reduction) for a Local Authority Client in East London.
In this role, you will lead the Settled Homes Team to deliver tailored, high-quality housing solutions, prevent homelessness, and ensure residents transition successfully from temporary to settled accommodation.
Duties:
- Lead and manage the Settled Homes Team, driving performance and staff development.
- Match residents to suitable properties and facilitate moves from temporary to settled homes.
- Prevent homelessness through negotiation with excluders and proactive support.
- Ensure compliance with housing legislation, safeguarding, and accurate record-keeping.
Qualifications and Experience:
The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:
- Proven management experience in housing, homelessness, or temporary accommodation services.
- Strong leadership, team development, and performance management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of Housing Act 1996 (Part VII) and Homelessness (Suitability of Accommodation) Orders.
- Experience working with vulnerable individuals and building effective partnerships with stakeholders.
What's on offer:
Salary: £300 per day
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 3-6 months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension
Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
