We are currently supporting a Local Authority in the Northwest who are seeking an experienced Senior Property Solicitor to join their Legal Services team on an interim basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a property lawyer with strong local authority experience to work on a varied and high-value caseload, supporting key development and regeneration projects across the borough.

Key Responsibilities

• Advising on development projects, regeneration schemes and infrastructure matters.
• Land acquisitions and disposals, including freehold and leasehold transactions.
• Drafting and negotiating development agreements, overage agreements, leases, licences and easements.

Key Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or CILEX Lawyer.
• Substantial experience handling local authority property matters with minimal supervision.
• Strong knowledge of land law, conveyancing and development-related transactions.
