Job Title: Senior Procurement Officer
Location: South London / Hybrid
Contract: 6-months ongoing
Pay: Inside IR35 - £400 - £450 a day
A South London Borough is currently recruiting for an Interim Senior Procurement Officer on an Interim basis.
About the role :
The procurement function in operates under a category management methodology and key to the success of this function are the Senior Procurement Officers. This role covers the category of Housing/Property and Construction and requires a good working knowledge of Housing and Construction, as well as knowledge on the various methods of procuring, especially under the new Procurement Act 23, and providing advice, guidance and support to departments on all matters relating to procurement policy and practice for this category.
Qualifications/Experience
- CIPS or MCIPS qualified
- Extensive local government experience
- Experience in Housing, Construction and Property
