Senior Litigation Lawyer
Rate: £50-£60 per hour - Negotiable DOE
Contract Length: 3-6-month initial contract

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Litigation Lawyer to join a large and well-established in-house litigation team within a London Local Authority.
This is a pivotal role providing high-quality litigation and advisory services to the Council, its departments and officers across a wide range of complex and high-profile matters.
The Role
- Manage your own varied and demanding caseload with minimal supervision.
- Carry out complex and varied litigation at all levels of Court and First tier and Upper Tribunal.
- Matters include (but are not limited to):
- Commercial property litigation
- Contract disputes
- Injunction proceedings
- Judicial review
- Complex debt litigation
- General civil and public law litigation
About You
- A qualified lawyer authorised to conduct litigation (Solicitor, Barrister or Fellow of CILEX).
- Significant post-qualification experience (3+ years PQE) within a local authority or similar environment.
- Extensive experience conducting complex general litigation across a range of areas.
