Senior Housing Lawyer
Rate: £45-£55 per day - Negotiable DOE
Contract Length: 9-12-month initial contract

We are seeking an experienced Senior Housing Lawyer on behalf of a local authority in the northwest region.
This is a senior, hands-on legal role providing high-quality legal advice, advocacy and representation on complex and high-profile housing matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a complex caseload with minimal supervision, acting as advocate in the County Court and Magistrates' Court.
- Conduct proceedings across all aspects of social housing law, including:
- Anti-social behaviour injunctions
- Possession proceedings
- Housing disrepair claims
- Estate management matters
- Act as a trusted legal adviser to Council departments and social housing providers, delivering high-level, strategic and tactical advice on housing law issues.
About You
- Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Chartered Legal Executive Advocate with a practising certificate.
- Significant experience in local authority or social housing law.
- Proven advocacy experience in the County Court and Magistrates' Court.
