Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children and families?

We're looking for dedicated and resilient individuals to join a Local Authorities Family Intervention Team, delivering innovative, evidence-based support to children and young people under 16, and their families, where there is a risk of entering care.

This is a rewarding role where you will work intensively with families, helping them build problem-solving skills, strengthen safety and stability at home, and achieve positive long-term change.

What you'll be doing:

  • Providing rapid crisis intervention and support to families, helping children remain at home safely where possible.
  • Working closely with statutory services to align care and intervention plans.
  • Contributing to assessments, child protection meetings, and, where necessary, giving evidence in court.
  • Ensuring children's voices are heard and central to all planning and decision-making.
  • Developing your knowledge and skills through ongoing training in evidence-based practice.
  • Keeping clear, accurate records in line with Council policies.

What we're looking for:

We're seeking motivated individuals with excellent communication skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a strong commitment to safeguarding children. Experience of working with families in crisis and knowledge of evidence-based interventions will be an advantage.

If this role sounds like the perfect fit for you, we'd love to hear from you!
