We are seeking a committed, compassionate and resilient SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in Skelmersdale. This is a rewarding role where you will make a genuine difference every single day.

The Role:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEND

• Support students with Autism, ADHD, SEMH and other additional needs

• Help pupils access learning in and out of the classroom

• Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation

• Build strong, trusting relationships with students

• Support with personal care when required

What We're Looking For:

• Experience in support work, youth work, care work, or relevant personal experience

• A calm, patient and nurturing approach

• Strong communication and behaviour management skills

• Resilience and the ability to remain positive in challenging situations

• A genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential

• Willingness to support personal care needs where necessary

• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
