Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)?

At Spencer Clarke Group, we're working in partnership with a number of SEND schools and alternative provisions across Preston who are seeking enthusiastic SEND Teachers to join their teams.

We have both long-term and temporary-to-permanent opportunities available, giving you the flexibility to choose what suits you best - whether you're looking for ongoing stability or the variety that supply work offers.

About the Role

You'll be working with pupils who have a range of additional needs including Autism (ASC), Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH), and Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD). You'll plan and deliver engaging lessons that support progress and promote positive outcomes.

Who We're Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)

• Experience within an SEND setting is desirable, but not essential

• We'd love to hear from mainstream teachers who are considering making the switch to SEND - full support and guidance will be provided

• A nurturing, resilient and adaptable approach to teaching

• Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and all employment breaks must be explained
• You must have legal right to work in the UK
• You must be willing to attend a registration interview

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.

Spencer Clarke Group work with a variety of schools covering a wide geographical area. We deal with teaching placements at Primary, Secondary, Special Education needs and college level as well as support staff positions also within these.
