SEND Teacher - Newcastle

We are currently working with a range of SEN and SEMH schools across Newcastle and the surrounding areas, who are looking for dedicated SEND Teachers to support on both short-term and long-term supply basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in rewarding environments, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs and making a real impact every day.

The Role:

• Deliver tailored lessons to meet the needs of pupils with SEN and SEMH
• Support students with a range of needs including autism, ADHD, and behavioural challenges
• Create a structured, safe and engaging learning environment
• Work closely with support staff, SENCOs and external agencies
• Manage behaviour effectively using a calm and consistent approach

What We're Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Proven experience working within SEN and/or SEMH settings
• Strong behaviour management skills
• A patient, resilient and nurturing approach
• Ability to adapt teaching to meet diverse needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
